Menolak RUU Permusikan yang tak memiliki urgensi dan digarap secara tak serius adalah sikap tegas untuk menjaga ruang-ruang kreasi komunitas musik akar rumput. Kita tidak takut, tapi bersikap dan bertindak untuk tidak memberikan landasan dan amunisi payung hukum yang bisa menjadi senjata bagi negara dan aparaturnya untuk bertindak sesuka hati adalah keharusan. Itu pun senafas dengan pesan dalam lagu Dètention. “The Separation of Douche and State” yang kami ikut sertakan dalam kompilasi “Bersama Bersuara”. Mengkritisi dan mempertanyakan lembaga-lembaga negara yang kerap dijalankan oleh mahkluk-mahkluk konyol penghamba kuasa; dalam isu ini ketika badan legislatif yaitu Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat yang seharusnya bersinergi dengan rakyat bukannya malah membuat RUU Permusikan yang isinya semacam usaha birokratisasi musik dengan pemaknaan yang dangkal terhadap musik secara esensi dan secara ekosistem karena musik bukan hanya sekedar komoditas budaya. Musik juga adalah buah dari peradaban yang memberi warna dan makna dalam kehidupan. Power should be questioned and never be left alone, Ya Basta! Batalkan RUU Permusikan!
