Pada awal 2019 hingga bulan Februari, permusikan tanah air sedang diguncang dengan isu draf RUU Permusikan hingga melahirkan gelombang penolakan dengan nama Koalisi Nasional Tolak RUU Permusikan.

"Adult's Dream Is A Violation" adalah lagu yang menggambarkan tentang seorang superior yang memberikan utopia kepada yang lemah. Namun, ada sebuah seruan agar tidak terlena. Personifikasi "Big Man" yang penuh dengan tipu daya dan rayuan itu disebutkan seperti sedang merespon isu-isu saat ini, yakni jangan percaya kepada mereka yang berkuasa.

Dalam konteks RUU Permusikan, Big Man dalam lirik lagu "Adult's Dream Is A Violation" adalah pihak pemerintahan yang ingin mengatur mengenai hak kebebasan berekspresi para musisi untuk menyalurkan pendapat dalam suatu karya. Sehingga, dibentuklah sebuah draf RUU Permusikan. Pengambilan tindakan dalam menolak RUU Permusikan merupakan pengambilan sikap yang bijak, karena di dalam RUU Permusikan sendiri tidak terdapat indikasi yang memiliki urgensi bagi pelaku musik Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, "Adult's Dream Is A Violation" menjadi anthem Olly Oxen untuk penolakan terhadap RUU Permusikan.
